Still-life shoot inspired by traditional vanitas still-life paintings from the 16th and 17th century. Vanitas paintings were used as reminders of the fragility of life and the worthlessness of worldly pleasures.

The series moves from an opulent scene into gruesome abstraction as the reality of these decaying objects is revealed.
